Alaskan Observers, Inc. (AOI) recruits biologists year-round to work as
Domestic Groundfish Observers in Alaska. We also recruit biologists to work
as observers in Washington, California, and Oregon. We are in the business
of helping the government obtain the data necessary to achieve a sound
management plan for the protection and benefit of future fisheries resources
in the Bering Sea, North Pacific, and on the West Coast.

For the North Pacific program, we are currently recruiting biologists for trainings that will take place in February and throughout the spring of 2012 We are also recruiting biologists for January 2012 trainings for Trawl Catch Share Observers and Catch Monitors, and we plan to hire for trainings for this program as well throughout the spring of 2012. Finally, the next training for the West Coast Groundfish Program will take place in March of 2012.
